Since 1981 I have counselled a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds. This enables me to offer a safe, therapeutic environment in which we jointly explore ways for you to deal with the life situations we all face as human beings.

My aim is to help you find resolutions which fit for you. Through the processes of integral counselling, coaching or psychotherapy you are assisted to gain insight, to become aware of choices you did not initially recognise, to develop personal resources and resilience and to find more effective ways of putting these insights into action.

I offer counselling specifically tailored to your individual needs and strengths, working from an integral model of human development developed by Ken Wilber. The integral model honours the interconnected aspects of biology and psychology, as well as the social, cultural and spiritual aspects of being in the world. This comprehensive approach to human suffering, healing, and personal growth is appropriate for individuals and couples.

Since 2005 I have been an Educator at the Australian College of Applied Psychology in Sydney, teaching Developmental Psychology and Conflict Management. From 1992 - 1997 I taught meditation and stress management techniques to small groups. From 1981-1987 I trained in the practice and teaching of yoga, meditation and stress management techniques with the Satyananda Ashram, Mangrove Mountain and Manly.

In 2004 I went to Boulder, Colorado for the first Integral Psychotherapy conference and in 2006 attended Integral Life Practice 2 conference. Since I was a teenager I have been interested in philosophy, comparative religion and the links between body, mind, spirit, consciousness and our interpersonal relationships. Reading "Grace and Grit" was my first introduction to Ken Wilber's body of work in 1991. This seemed like a "coming home" where I'd found a theoretician who combined a breadth of psychological knowledge with a depth of spiritual and philosophical training. His teachings have been a guiding light for me since then, inspiring my focus on applying the AQAL model to my work as well as my personal life and spiritual practice.
