RalfMuhlberger

I'm Ralf, an academic (researcher & lecturer) at the University of Queensland with a background in integrating different models of the world, more specifically models that have been constructed to manage data in information systems. I'm now looking at how those individual models impact on tool/technology design & use more widely than just data management. I've also been meditating for over 20 years now, sometimes regularly for weeks at a time, sometimes only once or twice a week for any longer period with just power-nap like meditations during the day. So I balance (juggle?) a scientific view of validating knowledge, with a philosophical view of the world as many different models, with a subtler experiential view of the world as something to _be_ in.

I've not read as much of Wilber as I'd like, but I'm drawn to the integral model that, to me, essentially says
i. there are various different perspectives in life that aren't substitutes of each other,
ii. a richer life seems to come about when you acknowledge and act from multiple/different perspectives,
iii. there's no one right way for any of these perspectives to be explored, but the integral community is full of people who use different ways and who are happy to share their ways with you so you can find your own combination of tools that work for you.

What I'd like to see is a safe space for people to explore these different ways and how to integrate them, both online and face to face.
